Happy Easter 2009!

Another rainy Easter here in Portland. We ended up doing the egg hunt indoors as the Easter bunny was not in the mood to hide eggs outside in the rain! We started the day with an egg hunt inside and then the girls opened up the goodies in their baskets. Then we headed to church for Easter Sunday service. After church we had brunch and another egg hunt with our good friends. The kids came home with TONS of candy! It was a great day and a great way to end the weekend

Ainsley's Spring Concert

The girls posing for mom before Ainsley's spring concert at school.

Getting ready for her spring concert! Thanks for the new outfit grandma Kathy!

Peyton is 3 years old!

We had a small pizza party at home with some of our friends to celebrate Peyton's 3rd birthday. I am still in shock that my baby is 3! She is becoming such a big girl. First the big girl bed last fall, and now totally potty-trained. Next year it off to preschool 2 days a week.

At least someone is listening to me...

Today we were getting ready to head over to the neighbors house for an afternoon playdate. I was upstairs getting ready and this is the conversation I heard coming from the entry way downstairs.
Ainsley: Peyton no, don't go out the front door.
Peyton: Why?
Ainsley: Peyton, if you go outside by yourself, the bad people might get you. If they get you, you'll never see Mommy, daddy, me, Tucker and Kona.
Peyton: ok.
Thank goodness someone is listening to me when I talk to them!

Christmas 2008

This year we spent Christmas in Ashland, with my mom, Dustin, Alison, Haley and many good friends!

Christmas Day!
Dustin, Alison and Haley's stockings. Yes they are brown paper grocery bags! They forgot to bring theirs from Seattle, so we improvised!

Ainsley building a snowman (with help from Uncle Rick!) on Christmas Eve in the mountains outside of Ashland.

Matching PJ's!

Making gingerbread cookies at Grammy Kathy's house in Ashland.

Nap time in the car on the way to Ashland. Do you like her 80's headband look?

December Snow 2008

A picture of our house during the big snow storm.
The view from our deck...look at all that snow!

Ainsley getting to work shoveling snow from the driveway.

Brad and Ainsley sledding down our hill right into our driveway! It was really nice to be able to walk out the door and sled for a little while until the kids got cold and then come back inside.

The girls enjoying a sled ride - compliments of daddy.
